Agenda

Day 1

peja | Via Ferrata | guesthouse bora

In Peja, we will enjoy a city tour and visit a 13th century monastery before having lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we will leave the city and prepare for a climbing experience with a magnificent view at the Via Ferrata 'Caves. Experience Via Ferrata (Italian for “steel road”), a climbing method that allows inexperienced climbers to challenge themselves while remaining securely attached to the rockface with the help of equipment and a guide.
This activity takes 3-4 hours and includes the opportunity to cross the Tibetan Bridge.
Get ready to conquer the heights and test your limits with us!
In the afternoon, we arrive at Gueasthouse Bora, our home and base.
There we have dinner and instructive night with a theoretical safety presentation while completing our preparations for the upcoming challenging days .

Day 2

hajla peak | pepaj vilalge | guesthouse bora

Our second destination is the Hajla Mountain Cabin, nestled cozily on the southern slope of the Hajla peak.
Hajla Mountain is the perfect warm-up for the upcoming days, providing a peaceful and tranquil environment with its stunning nature.
The cabin was constructed by the Environmentally Responsible Group, whose goal is to create harmony between people and nature within the protected area.
The revenue from the cabin is also used to fund the ERA's wildlife conservation and monitoring program.
To reach Pepaj Village from Guesthouse Bora, we will travel by 4x4."

Day 3

avalanche training | gjoni pass | rreka allages | ariu guesthouse | Eco friendly cottage

Avalanche training helps us prepare for potential problems on the mountains. After the training, we ascend Hajla Peak (2403m) from the south, taking in breathtaking views of Kosovo and Montenegro. From the peak, we ski to our next guesthouse.

At an altitude of 1900m, we traverse Gjoni Pass and enter the forest, where we encounter sharp turns on good snow. This run leads us to Rreka Allages Village (1300m) and Ariu Guesthouse, an eco-friendly cottage where Mustaf and his wife Fetije welcome us. Fetije serves up traditional Albanian cuisine made with local products. Luggage transfer is included on this day.

Day 4

Lumbardhi mountains | Guesthouse kulla

After our accommodation in Rreka Allages, we travel to Lumbardhi Village (1570m), next to the Montenegro border, in 4x4 cars.

After a brief rest and being satisfied with the rugged mountain views, we prepare our equipment for the ascent towards Guri Kuq Peak (2520m). Following this, we ski mostly downhill to Milishec Village (1630m) to reach our next guesthouse: Guesthouse Kulla.t

Day 5

Milishevc | freeride slopes of bogevica | guesthouse eko hrid

"From Milishec, we begin our ascent towards the Three Border Peak (2366m). This special peak connects Kosovo, Montenegro, and Albania to one another. After reaching the peak, we will ski on the freeride slopes of Bogicevica all the way to our next guesthouse - Eko Hrid. (On this day, luggage transfer is included.)"

Day 6

ali cela pass | gjeravica | decani gorge | PEJA | guesthouse bora | qafa doberdolit

On our last mountain day, we start early in the morning to ascend to Ali Cela Pass, from which it is optional to climb the highest peak of Kosovo, Gjeravica (2656m), to enjoy the incredible view of the Kosovo and Albanian Alps and ski down to Zalli I Rrupes in Decani Gorge. In Decani Gorge, a 4x4 transfer will be waiting to take us back to Peja and our guesthouse, Bora.

After our ascent, we will ski down to Albania from Qafa Doberdolit and arrive in the remote village of Doberdol, where we will spend the night at Uka's Guesthouse. For those who want to experience nostalgia, this area has no electricity, telephone signals, or any entertainment tools other than the warmth of the fireplace and drinking local rakija while socializing with each other and enjoying a delicious homemade meal.

Day 7

ali cela pass | gjeravica | decani gorge | PEJA | guesthouse bora | qafa doberdolit

On our final day, we will spend some time relaxing at the Iligje Thermal Waters to rest and recover from the previous days' activities. Then, we will head to Rahovec, home to many vineyards and wineries. We will visit Muja's family-owned winery, Eko, where he will show us the process of producing wine from grape to serving and we will enjoy different wines with meze (appetizers). Finally, we will return to Skopje Airport to end our journey.
